Another overdue post, さすがですね. School has really caught up with me, bogging me down with all the tutorial assignments to complete and pre-lecture readings to do.
Went to the Summer Festival 2 days ago(officially, judging by the time of writing). As it was my 1st time there, I don’t know how the 祭り in Japan is like, but this should be something similar I guess. There’s Japanese food/snacks to eat, as well as those festival game booth(though I didn’t manage to find any). Spent most of the time there sitting down and watching the performances on stage. The traditional/folk dance was the main highlight of the night IMO, as lots of people were dancing along with the performers, albeit around the stage. There was pretty much the air of festivity there. Really appreciated this break from the so-called “mugging” back at home.
Someday, I hope to experience one of the 祭り in Japan, though that means having to go there during summer again, enduring the heat of the sun or braving the rain, as I did previously on my recent trip 😦
